Joan Meenderinck

Event Coordinator

Joan has worked with Northwest Benefit Auctions for the past 9 years.   When the need arose at her local school, Lynden Christian School, 12 years ago, to help them organize their benefit auction, she jumped at the chance to volunteer.  Since then she has had a new appreciation for the people who chair and run a benefit auction. The key ingredient in running an auction is organization and a good group of energetic volunteers.

There are different challenges at every event, but she will help you work through every situations, give new ideas or insights, develop new ways to raise money.  The joy of hearing a client at the end of the evening, say how much they've appreciated all the help and expertise over the past few months, makes it all worth the time and energy that goes into the planning of a successful auction.

The majority of her clients are from around the Pacific Northwest but her love for travel has allowed her to work also in Portland, Milwaukee, Chicago, La Jolla, New Orleans, Oakland, Tuscon, Phoenix, San Francisco, Ontario, Sacramento, Sun Valley, Palm Springs, Palm Desert, Charleston and San Diego.  She is looking forward to meeting you and helping you make your upcoming auction one that will long be remembered.
