My first taste of fundraising dates back to 1998 when I became a Lions Club member in Quincy, California.  It was thrilling to find a need in the community and fill it.  I now live in Snohomish, Washington with my husband and 3 children.  I continue to volunteer in many capacities but auctions have become somewhat of an addiction for me.  I volunteered as an auction chairman for my children's private Christian school for 4 years.  During my fourth year while on one of many phone calls to our Northwest Benefit Auction Event Coordinator she mentioned having a last minute staff cancellation and I offered to fill in.  She made a few calls to the office and made it happen...that was 5 years ago.  I work events throughout the Pacific Northwest and have had the pleasure of traveling to events in California, Arizona and Oregon.  I have a great appreciation for the 110% that an Auction Committee has to put into an auction.  I have walked in the committee shoes and I have personally been the last one to leave the building on many a night.  There is always opportunity to improve and learn from every event we attend and we know that not everyone will turn volunteering on an auction committee into a career.  That's where we come in, there is a basic foundation that every auction needs to stand but Northwest Benefit Auctions gives you the tools to put the finishing touches that will make your auction do more than just walk...we will help you run.  Whether it's your first auction, a rebuilding year, or your 50^th Annual Auction, we will give you the same excitement and attention as if it were our 1^st./SPAN
